  • All classes are at Studio J, 45 Grove St., New Canaan, CT.

  • We offer seasonal sessions throughout the year. Please check registration page for upcoming dates and registration details.

  • Sessions run 6-8 weeks, depending on the program; workshops & clinics may be shorter.

  • We provide flexible sessions so students can train without long-term commitment.

General

  • At NC Dance Clinics, Dance Team focuses on learning technique and choreography in jazz, hip-hop, pom, and kick, similar to the dynamic routines you’d see during a halftime performance.

    Cheerleading, on the other hand, emphasizes cheers, jumps, and stunts—engaging the crowd and building spirit throughout the game.

    We often explain it to students like this:
    Dance Team performs at halftime. Cheerleaders energize the crowd from the sidelines.

  • No experience needed! Our programs welcome all levels, providing a supportive space to learn and grow.

  • Athletic wear, sneakers, or jazz shoes.

Dance & Cheer Programs

    • Full refund: Up to 7 days before session start

    • 50% refund: Up to the first class

    • After session begins: Credits may apply

  • If a class is canceled due to weather or unforeseen events, we will schedule a make-up session.
